Lehighton Bike Night will celebrate it 11th anniversary in 2009. Since 1999, Lehighton Bike Night has continued to grow in attendance. Our goal in 1999 was 2500 motorcyclists...we attracted over 4000. Encouraged by the sucess of the first Lehighton Bike Night, plans were made to continue the event in 2000.

Our expectations for Lehighton Bike Night II were 5-6000 guests. Again we were overwhelmed with the attendance of over 8,000 bikers.

In 2001, the Borough of Lehighton, PA, recognizing the value and importance of Lehighton Bike Night, signed on as the primary sponsor. With the support of the Borough, Lehighton Bike Night III attracted over 11,000 bikers.

As Lehighton Bike Night has flourished, so has attendance. In 2007 and 2008 attendance was over 20,000 and our goal for Lehighton Bike Night XI in 2009 is 25,000.

All proceeds for the event go the Lehighton Fire and Police Departments.
